Patti Ann Inoue, M.Ed., CRC


Patti Ann Inoue, M.Ed., CRC earned a Master’s of Education Degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2002, specializing in Rehabilitation Counseling.  She completed her practicum program with the State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and her internship program under the guidance of Laurie H. Hamano, M.Ed., CRC.  She is nationally certified in vocational rehabilitation. She also received her certification with the State of Hawaii as a Mental Health Counselor.  Ms. Inoue currently services injured workers on the Islands of Oahu and Kauai.  She is also involved in providing contract services to the Veteran’s Administration, evaluating veterans with service-connected disability with their return to work efforts.  She has also had previous experience working in the Office of Workers Compensation Program (OWCP) with the Federal Government, servicing Federal injured workers in their return to work.

While attending the Master’s Degree program, Ms. Inoue was working for the State Department of Health, Developmental Disabilities Council.  She gained a tremendous understanding of individuals with developmental disabilities and the impact that employment has on their lives.

She is a member of the Hawaii Injured Workers Alliance (HIWA), an organization dedicated to supporting injured workers.  She is also a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARPs), a professional organization for private vocational rehabilitation professionals.
